Artist Profile: Mef Gannon

     Mef Gannon is an artist and musician.  She performs her original folk-rock ballads throughout the Northeast, and her artistic impulses lead her to create with such varied materials as beads, fabric, and watercolors.  Mef has given birth to a huge family of jewelry, art quilts, and photographs. 

"I have a lust for beads, fiber, and fabric, with lots of texture and color," she says. "If it has a surface, it can be beaded."  Don’t stand still for too long when you’re admiring her work—she might bead you!
