Artists Profile: Lauryn de Leeuw

Lauryn de Leeuw is an artist, a writer, and a poet.  A world-traveler, she was born in the Far East by Dutch parents.  But she disregarded their warnings about becoming an artist and found her creative voice at the Art Students League in NYC and the Chelsea Arts Club in London.

"Art is like love", she says.  "It can’t be defined; it just moves emotions deep within you, and you know you have a companion for life."

Fluent in both acrylics and pastels, Lauryn’s favorite subjects include women, flowers, birds, and other wildlife.
