The Playhouse achieves its mission by providing young artists and artisans with the opportunity to grow by creating high-quality, professional theatrical productions. Founded in 1947, the Forestburgh Playhouse is the oldest continuously operating professional summer theatre in New York State.
The Playhouse employs professional actors, as well as a company of non-union professionals who earn credit toward their eventual membership in the Actors’ Equity Association. Please visit their WEB SITE and support their efforts by attending their productions.
