Eija specializes in watercolor and stained-glass art. As an avid hiker and bird-watcher, she draws her inspiration from her surroundings: Winters in Florida, Summers in rural Pennsylvania, and occasional trips back to her native Finland.

She has created art for all of her adult life, but still keeps the passion for learning and experimenting. Eija is an integral part of the Art Center Manatee, in Bradenton, FL, the Artists Guild of Anna Maria Island, FL, and the Barryville Area Arts Association in Shohola, PA. Her work has been displayed at venues all across the East Coast.
