Artists Profile: Dawn Okeeffe
For Dawn Okeeffe, art is about transformation. She believes it can heal a broken heart and a damaged spirit.
"Art can show others how you view the world," she says, "a world which is sometimes dark, sometimes joyful, but always beautiful. I go to a very special place when I create: a spiritual, peaceful world."
Dawn often experiences the creation of her art without constraining it with a name. Most of her work is untitled, so as not to interfere with the viewer’s experience.
