Artist Profile: Christine Innaco
Photographer, Writer, Explorer
If it’s an abandoned building, dilapidated hotel, zombie church, or forsaken theater, Christine Innaco can’t resist going inside.
"It’s dangerous and legally ambiguous," she says, "but also a lot of fun".
What began as a hometown hobby soon evolved to include abandoned locations around the world: taking self-portraits, usually decked out in a glamourous gown, for her photo series "Elegance in Abandonment".
Christine is equally passionate about her writing and often includes poetic interpretations of her self-portraits.
